The world within the Corps Security & Hope Town books can sometimes be confusing – even for me. When I started writing the Corps books, I never imagined that there would be a spin off series. The only thing that I knew in my bones when I finished Locke (actually it was probably when I finished Uncaged, lol) was that Cohen Cage’s story couldn’t end. Naturally, because of that, neither could Dani Reid’s. 🙂 It’s funny for me because even I have a hard time remembering everyone when I’m working on a Hope Town book … or it might just be the very rational fear that I’ll leave someone out, lol. When Unexpected Fate came out, a lovely reader (Sarah Waisanen) created the family tree graphic. We changed it some when the Sway logo was created. I can’t thank her enough because not only can we all keep track of which kid belongs to which CS book/family – but I can’t even tell you how much I love seeing my babies all together like this. As the Hope Town series continues, for fun, I will eventually have a family tree for those books as well, but because the most asked question when a new HT book gets released is ‘do you have a family tree or guild’, I wanted to make sure that this was something easily found for my amazing readers.
Warning (for those that hate spoilers) there is a slight spoiler in the tree itself (for those that haven’t read the Corps Security books past Cage), but for the most part it is just a tool for you as you continue this journey with us.
*Disclaimer – The Corps Security series and Hope Town series are related, however, it is not required to read the Corps Security books before it’s spin off series, Hope Town. This graphic is a tool to use if you have read them or haven’t so that you can better know the relationships between the interconnected series.
